Background
Bizum is Spain’s leading instant payment infrastructure, used by most banks to send and receive money through banking apps using only a phone number.
Launched in 2016, it now serves 30M+ users and processes millions of daily transactions.
Challenge
The challenge was to evolve Spain's most trusted payment infrastructure into a comprehensive digital wallet. I led the end-to-end redesign, establishing a future-proof system that allowed for rapid scaling and the seamless launch of the Bizum Wallet across multiple banking ecosystems.
